John Mark Fezio
Mr. Fezio began his legal career at a prestigious commercial law firm, handling complex business lawsuits and class actions. The work was challenging and rewarding, but Mr. Fezio found his true calling in helping real people, with real injuries, not big corporations.

Since Mr. Fezio began representing personal injury victims and insurance policyholders, he has recovered more than $100 Million for his clients. He has won 7-figure and 8-figure jury trial verdicts for personal injury victims. In March 2025, Mr. Fezio won a jury verdict awarding $17,311,053 to his client, whose fingers were amputated by a negligent farming equipment salesman. The total verdict value was over $24.5 million with judicial interest.
Mr. Fezio has also recovered more than $50 Million for policyholders whose insurance companies refused to pay for property damage after Hurricanes Laura and Delta in Lake Charles and Hurricanes Zeta and Ida in New Orleans. Mr. Fezio helped homeowners, churches and businesses rebuild their lives and businesses by holding their insurance companies accountable for policy benefits, bad faith penalties and attorneys’ fees. In 2023, Mr. Fezio won a federal trial against the U.S. government (FEMA) and recovered $817,958 in flood policy benefits for a condo building destroyed by Hurricane Michael.
Mr. Fezio handles some of the most challenging cases, and he applies the work ethic, legal analysis and attention to detail he developed in his commercial litigation practice to the lawsuits he pursues against corporations and insurance companies. Mr. Fezio’s skill both in the courtroom and at the negotiating table gives his clients their best chance to win.
Mr. Fezio grew up in a small town in South Carolina. After college, Tulane Law School brought him to New Orleans, and he never left. “I found a city and a culture that I couldn’t leave,” says Mr. Fezio of New Orleans. He now lives in the New Orleans area with his wife and two children, the city he has called home for more than 20 years.
